Have been to the Chingari a couple of times and we quite like the food. However the smoking can be a bind sometimes and it is a bit expensive for what you get. However the food is good and they serve beer as well. The decor for me is 1970's but is comfortable and cosy too.
They have an Indian band sitting on a raised stage in the middle of the room that is nice. They were asked to play Happy Birthday one time that we were in there and it seemed to go on forever. Maybe it is still going on.

We ordered a takeaway from the Chingari one evening and it seemed to take a long time to prepare, I would suggest that if you are going to order a takeaway it is better to order ahead. Also, the restaurant is pretty popular and it would be best to book a table at popular times.
