Intercontinental Hotel Cafe Restaurant on Wednesday Evenings

The Intercontinental Hotel is in West Bay (or just beyond it on the way to the Pearl) and the Cafe Restaurant is downstairs from the lobby. It does buffets most nights but the best one for me is on a Wednesday evening when it is Indian Theme night. This is wonderful and a great selection of Indian food. Help yourself to as much as you want.

You can get a nice drink here too and the only let down for me is that there is a smoking area and this is rather off putting.

Other nights they do other themes and also there is a brunch on Friday lunchtimes too, but for me the Wednesday night visit is the one to go for.
